Kanye West and Paul McCartney Rumored to Be Mixing it Up in the Studio

This might just be Kanye West‘s most interesting musical collaboration to date. Having previously worked with the likes of Jay-Z, Ludacris, Bon Iver and Chris Martin, West is now reportedly working with legend Paul McCartney, former frontman for The Beatles.

Reports suggest that West and McCartney have already recorded several songs in the studio, all of which could come together for a complete album in the not-too-distant future.

For some, the news may be coming out of left field, but this isn’t the first time West and McCartney have been suspected of planning a collaboration. Just last week Kanye West hit-up Paul McCartney’s show at Dodger’s Stadium in Los Angeles, thus fueling the fire for the two superstars to combine their incredible, yet very different, musical talents into an album.

Are Yeezus and Sir Paul Working on an Album Together?

Kanye West and Paul McCartney might be collaborating on a new album together.

Summer 2013, McCartney bought a copy of West’s Yeezus album and went on to tweet that he was interested in recruiting either Kanye or Jay-Z to collaborate on his song “Appreciate.”

Representatives for both West and McCartney have yet to confirm the musical pairing, so the story remains unconfirmed. Given his history of featuring A-list musical talent on his albums, let’s not count this one out for Kanye West.
